Why did I decide to take steps to getting Weight Loss Surgery?
This is why…
This is an x-ray from my left knee from 2015. This was taken in June 2015 when I killed my knee running three 10k three weekends in a row. My weight was the biggest factor in this injury. Since then I haven’t been able to run the same ways I use to. Along with the injury I was diagnosed with arthritis. I spent one month in crutches and three months with a cane.
This year hips have joined in on the pain. The pain has increased over the last six months. It hurts when I don’t do anything and it hurts when I do do something. And it’s not that soreness pain, it’s that burn pain that freezes up your joint.
I can’t be an active participate in my children’s life if I continue on this path. I want to be there for them without all the pain.
After talking to my doctor in August about WLS again he referred me to start the progress.
